Housing

We understand the housing crisis in Queensland and our policies will focus on rapid solutions.

Every person should have access to housing in an economy and society like Queensland. We understand the urgency to resolve the current housing crisis. Our primary housing public policy objective is to increase the supply of affordable housing in Queensland.

Our plan to resolve the housing crisis issues is to rapidly acquire available land with existing development approvals and engage Queensland builders to construct medium and high-density residential dwellings. We will aim to release more land if necessary.

Our government will engage Queensland headquartered and registered building contractors. The properties will be Queensland Government assets that will generate revenue for the state.

The rental cost will be affordable and will provide a return on investment. Increasing the supply and controlling rental costs will contribute to controlling inflation in Queensland.
